Dr Zis works as an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Cyprus. He was born in Athens, Greece in 1982. In 2005 he obtained his Medical Degree from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has completed an MSc in Health Care Management and a PhD in Neurology. In 2015 he received the Certificate of Completion of Training in Neurology and in 2017 completed his subspecialisation in Clinical Neurophysiology successfully passing the American Board exams of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. His clinical and research interests include polyneuropathies (epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, natural history) neuropathic pain as well as the use of various neurophysiological techniques (nerve conduction studies, excitability studies, electromyography, single fiber EMG and transcranial magnetic stimulation) for the diagnosis of peripheral nervous system disorders.
