Dr. Julian Kenrick Xingyuan Loh is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), where he also serves as the Director of the Coronary Care Unit. He obtained his medical degree from Trinity College Dublin with Second Class Honours and completed his basic training in Ireland before returning to Singapore for his senior residency. Dr. Loh holds postgraduate diplomas from the American Board of Echocardiography and in Palliative Medicine. He further advanced his expertise through a Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure, LVAD, and Heart Transplant at the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, UK.
Dr. Loh’s subspecialty interests include advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation, and intensive care medicine. He is a dedicated medical educator, currently serving as the Programme Director for the Cardiology Senior Residency and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. He is also a member of the National Post-Cardiac Arrest and Survivorship (PCAS) workgroup and has held various leadership roles in ethics and quality assurance committees within SingHealth.
