Curriculum Vitae

Professor Timothy R. Graham is a prominent Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, where he has practiced since 1993. He is the Vice President of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and serves as the Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to the British Army. Professor Graham is a Fellow of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers and has been awarded the prestigious College Medal from the RCS Edinburgh.

Professor Graham has held numerous high-level leadership positions in medical education and surgical standards, including serving as the President of the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery of Great Britain and Ireland. He has chaired the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery examinations and the national exam board for all surgical specialties in the UK (JCIE). Since 2016, he has also served as the Assistant Medical Director for Clinical Governance at the University Hospitals Birmingham Trust.
