Pierpaolo Mudu

Pierpaolo Mudu works for WHO-EURO Environment and Health Center in Bonn and for the Headquarters in Geneva. Most recent works include the coordination of the EMAPEC project that had a focus on reviewing the epidemiological scientific literature on morbidity impacts of air pollution, and the development of economic assessments. He has been responsible since 2015 of the development of AirQ+, the software that calculates the impacts of air pollution on health. Most recent works include the development of a QGIS plug-in (GreenUr) for the assessment of the impacts of green spaces on health and the new development of the Climate Mitigation, Air Quality and Health (CLIMAQ-H) tool. He has carried out several impact assessments of environmental policy interventions in various countries, and the development of case studies in many cities both inside and outside Europe. He gave several training on health impact assessment in many different countries.
