Dr. Lisa Kitasato is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Medicine at Kitasato University, Japan. She is an expert in cardiovascular medicine and molecular biology, with significant international experience as a post-doctoral fellow at the Institut Pasteur and Sorbonne Université in Paris, France. Dr. Kitasato is a Board Certified Member of the Japanese Circulation Society and a Fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine.
Her research focus includes the molecular mechanisms of cardiac remodeling and atherosclerosis.
