Irakli Gogokhia

Irakli Gogokhia is a prominent specialist in Cardiac Anesthesia and Intensive Care, currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at the American Hospital Tbilisi (AHT). His professional background is distinguished by extensive clinical training at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel, where he completed multiple fellowships and residency programs in cardiac anesthesia and general intensive care.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Gogokhia held several leadership positions in Georgia, including Chief Medical Officer at the Tbilisi Referral Hospital and Chairman of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Board at Evex Hospitals. He is an expert in managing complex cardiothoracic surgical patients and critical care units. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Tbilisi State University.
