Valentin Fuster is a world-renowned leader in global cardiovascular medicine, currently serving as the President of Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital and Physician-in-Chief of The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA, alongside his role as General Director of the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) in Madrid, Spain. After studying medicine at the University of Barcelona, his career included professorships at the Mayo Medical School, Mount Sinai, and serving as the Mallinckrodt Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Chief of Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
