Laura Fusini

Laura Fusini is a specialized cardiologist and biomedical engineer, currently serving at the Centro Cardiologico Monzino (IRCCS) in Milan. Her unique profile combines clinical expertise in 2D/3D echocardiography with advanced skills in statistical analysis and post-processing imaging. She holds a PhD in Clinical and Translational Science and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

She is the SIECVI Regional Delegate for Lombardia and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Cardiovascular Development and Disease. With an H-index of 41 and over 160 scientific publications, her research focuses on artificial intelligence applications in cardiovascular imaging, TAVI follow-up, and 3D quantification of heart chambers. She also serves as a teacher in several university masters across Italy (Verona, Siena, Milan).
