Johan Nicolas, MD, is a dedicated cardiologist and clinical researcher with extensive international experience. He currently serves as a Clinical Research Fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, working within the Center for Interventional Cardiovascular Research and Clinical Trials directed by Dr. Roxana Mehran. His work focuses on interventional cardiology and the management of high-impact multicenter clinical trials.

His academic and professional background spans both Europe and the United States. He completed his medical training at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and gained significant clinical experience at the Academic Medical Center (AMC) and Radboud University Medical Center. In his research role, he is actively involved in landmark studies concerning antiplatelet therapy (such as the TWILIGHT trial) and innovations in coronary devices.
