Work Experience Researcher at Department of Experimental Medicine, University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Naples (Apr2023-present) Scientific executive member of SIF early career Pharmacologists group (SIF-ECPG) (Nov2022-present) My research interest is inflammation and the role of the immuno-inflammatory response and sphingolipids metabolism in respiratory allergy and cardiovascular diseases. Using a wide range of in vitro and in vivo models of allergic asthma and heart failure my current research attempts to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) involved in the pathophysiology of inflammatory respiratory diseases and heart failure. Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEf): pathophysiological mechanisms and effects of new hypoglicemic drugs in an animal model of heart failure associated with renal dysfunction.
