Marco Trombetti

HIGHLIGHTS Marco is a computer scientist, entrepreneur and investor . He pioneered the use of artificial intelligence working in symbiosis with professional human translators. ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITY Marco co-founded Translated in 1999, one of the first internet translation companies and today, one of the most successful in the world. In 2007, he co-founded Memopal, a cloud storage company that was later acquired by a public company. Through the profits of these ventures he co-founded Pi Campus, a venture capital firm investing in applied artificial intelligence. Pi Campus invested in 44 startups in the last 5 years.
