One of the leaders in hepatology, gastroenterology, and internal diseases in Russia HIGHLIGHTS Doctor of Sciences and Professor, he is the author of over 300 scientific papers, 4 books and 8 manuals, with publications in numerous prestigious Russian and international journals. He is a member of Expert Council of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) on prospective clinical trials planning in gastroenterology and hepatology, the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), and others. He is also a member of the editorial board of “Lechebnoye Delo” journal. He carries teaching activities at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University in Moscow where he is the Head of the 2nd Chair of Hospital Therapy. He is the Director of the Federal State Autonomous Institution “Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center” under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
