Fabio Ghezzi

Fabio Ghezzi is professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Ob/Gyn Department at the Women's and Children Hospital, University of Insubria, Varese, Italy. He is the Director of the Ob/Gyn Residency Program at the University of Insubria and adjunct Professor at the University of Wien. Since 2018 he is an Honorary member of the British Society of Gynecological endoscopy. He has performed more than 15000 gynecological operations for both benign and malignant gynecological diseases. He has authored more then 400 peer-reviewed scientific papers and chapters. He is a worldwide recognized leader in the field of mini- and micro-laparoscopy in gynecology and gynecological oncology. He has participated at several scientific meetings in different Countries as invited speaker or surgeon during live surgeries. He is involved in several educational programs at national and international level on the topics of gynecological endoscopy and gynecological oncology. He has been involved in several international trials and research activities on surgery, oncology and translational medicine.
