Dr. Naomi Elizabeth Wattchow is a Cardiologist and PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide, Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and is recognized as a Level A Specialist in CT Coronary Angiography. Her clinical work is currently focused at the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Fellow and Consultant Locum.
Dr. Wattchow's research is at the cutting edge of coronary atherosclerosis, investigating the role of glycans and ASGR1 as novel mediators of the disease. She has received numerous accolades, including the CSANZ Imaging Oral Presentation Prize and the SAHMRI 3 Minute Thesis First Prize. Beyond her research, she is a leader in the professional community, serving as the Chair of the CSANZ Fellows-in-Training Committee. She is also a Clinical Associate Lecturer and a dedicated philanthropist, participating in endurance events for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the MS Society.
