Khodr Tello

Dr. Khodr Tello is a specialist in Cardiology and Pulmonology, currently holding a W2 Professorship for "Right Heart Function and Pulmonary Hypertension," awarded in 2023. His significant career at UKGM, Giessen, includes serving as Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Medicine II, and Head of the Internal Medicine and Pulmonology Intensive Care Unit, the Right Heart Catheterization Laboratory, Right Heart Echocardiography, and Thoracic Ultrasound. He holds a Habilitation focused on RV function in pulmonary hypertension, as well as additional qualifications in Infectious Diseases and Intensive Care Medicine. Dr. Tello is an active researcher, having been a Principal Investigator for several clinical trials, and is a member of the German Center for Lung Research (DZL) and the Excellence Cluster Cardio-Pulmonary Institute (CPI). He also contributes as a scientific expert for numerous international journals.
