Dr Eduard Ródenas-Alesina completed his MD in Medicine at Pompeu Fabra University in 2015 and his training in Cardiology in 2021 at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona. Following this, he undertook advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation training at Toronto General Hospital from 2021 to 2022. Since September 2022, he has been appointed at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, working in the heart failure and cardiac critical care units. He also coordinates the statistical support unit for investigator-initiated research in the Cardiology department. He has an extensive publication record with over 60 articles, mostly on heart failure, and acts as the local principal investigator for five industry-sponsored clinical trials in heart failure patients.
