Dr. Dipti Itchhaporia is a distinguished Interventional Cardiologist and the Past President of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). She holds the Eric & Sheila Samson Endowed Chair in Cardiovascular Health at Hoag Memorial Hospital and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Itchhaporia is a recognized leader in digital health transformation, health equity, and disease management.
Her career is defined by her advocacy for using technology and data to achieve global healthcare transformation. She serves as an Associate Editor for JACC Advances and is a board member of the World Heart Federation. Dr. Itchhaporia has published extensively on women’s cardiovascular health, artificial intelligence in cardiology, and the evolution of the "Quintuple Aim" in healthcare. Her numerous honors include being named the Elliot Rapaport Cardiologist of the Year and receiving the Ralph J. Cicerone Distinguished Visiting Professor Award.
