The Fondazione Menarini was founded in the spring of 1976 for promoting research and knowledge in the fields of biology, pharmacology and medicine, as well as those of economy and human sciences. One of the main instruments via which to pursue these objectives is the organisation of international congresses with particular attention to the medical disciplines.

Do you have a scientific proposal for an event?

The Fondazione Menarini is offering you a dedicated space for autonomously proposing your scientific initiatives for the year 2027. These must be submitted by April 2026, with a particular focus on the following medical areas: Cardiometabolic, Pulmonology and Allergology, Oncology and Haematology, Pain Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology and Pharmacology. You can suggest a proposal for a stand-alone meeting with a maximum of 20-22 faculty members, including the chair(s). In order to guarantee a balance among speakers, the faculty must be composed of 50% national experts and 50% international experts, with a maximum of 10% intercontinental speakers. Gender equality and the involvement of young members of the faculty is highly recommended. The proposal will be evaluated for implementation the following year, at least 12 months after submission. Submit your draft proposal for evaluation by the Fondazione Menarini Scientific Committee and you will receive a reply as soon as possible.

Closed, two-day, highly selective meetings involving experts of recognised international prestige, aimed at in-depth discussion of key issues and the production of consensus documents, recommendations and scientific publications, to be held at the Auditorium in Fiesole.
