Tineke Buffart

Dr. Tineke Buffart studied both medicine and medical biology at the VU University Medical Center (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). She obtained her MD and PhD at the same university. Since 2018 she is a medical oncologist with expertise on colorectal cancer. From 2018-2021 she was a staff member in the Netherlands Cancer Institute. After that, she joined the medical staff at the Amsterdam UMC. She combines her work as a medical oncologist with research on colorectal cancer with focus on multidisciplinary treatment and optimizing treatment strategies including novel therapeutic options. She has special interest in early onset colorectal cancer.
