Dr. Sunanto Ng is a prominent Interventional Cardiologist and academic leader in Indonesia. He holds an MD and PhD, with advanced clinical and epidemiological training from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and UMC Utrecht in the Netherlands. Dr. Ng is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) and the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (FAPSC).
Currently, Dr. Ng serves as the Chief Editor of the Indonesia Journal of Cardiology and chairs the Working Group on Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis, Lipid, and Regenerative Therapy for PERKI (Indonesian Heart Association). He balances his clinical practice at Siloam Hospital Lippo Village with an academic role as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH). His dual expertise in clinical epidemiology and intensive cardiac intervention makes him a leading voice in Indonesian cardiovascular research and policy.
