Rudolf Oliveira

Dr. Rudolf Oliveira is a specialist in pulmonology who earned a doctorate from the Federal University of São Paulo and received training in invasive exercise physiology at Harvard University. He serves as an Adjunct Professor of Pulmonology at UNIFESP and coordinates the Pulmonary Hemodynamic Assessment Program at Hospital São Paulo. With over ten years of experience, he is recognized for pioneering the introduction of invasive cardiopulmonary exercise testing (iCPET) in Brazil. This tool is instrumental in accurately diagnosing myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, long COVID, pulmonary hypertension, and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
