Dr. Rith Chandara is a highly specialized Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. With a career dedicated to advanced cardiovascular care, he has developed a profound expertise in arrhythmia management, cardiac pacing, and interventional electrophysiology. He earned his medical degree and specialized in cardiology at the University of Health Sciences in Cambodia, further enhancing his skills through a prestigious fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS).
Currently, Dr. Chandara serves as a Specialized Doctor in Cardiology at Calmette Hospital, where he manages complex clinical cases, performs daily rounds, and leads advanced cardiac procedures. His technical core competencies include EP studies and ablations, as well as the implantation and troubleshooting of cardiac devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, and CRTs. He is also proficient in diagnostic imaging, including echocardiography and Holter ECG interpretation.
Beyond his clinical duties, Dr. Chandara is an active figure in the international cardiology community. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS) and the Heart Rhythm Society, and has been recognized as a Fellow of the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology (AFCC).
