Pierre Ronco

Pierre Ronco is Emeritus Professor at Sorbonne Université in Paris. He is a clinical investigator with international expertise in glomerular diseases. He received the Jean Hamburger award (ISN), the prize for outstanding basic research (ERA), and the Doctor Honoris Causa of Louvain University. He is a member of the Academia Europeae and the French and Belgium Academies of Medicine. He served as President of the Francophone Society of Nephrology and of two ERA congresss (Paris, 2012, 2022). He chaired or co-chaired the Programme Committee of 4 World Congresses of Nephrology (Madrid, Milan, Cape Town, Mexico). He is currently serving as Editor in Chief of Kidney International.
