Mukesh Kumar

Dr. Mukesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Adult Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Karachi, Pakistan. He is a patient-focused Interventional Cardiologist with experience in over a thousand coronary interventions, including primary PCI and complex cases. He earned his FCPS in Cardiology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan, in 2016.

Dr. Kumar’s clinical expertise covers the diagnosis of heart failure and peripheral vascular diseases, as well as cardiac SPECT imaging. His research contributions are published in the International Journal of Cardiology and the Pakistan Heart Journal, focusing on clinical predictors of survival in PCI patients and the patterns of vascular involvement in peripheral arterial disease.
