Mohamed Mabrouk is a Consultant Gynecologist and Minimal Access Reproductive Surgeon, with special interests in endometriosis, advanced endoscopic surgery. He works in Cambridge Endometriosis and Endoscopic Surgery Unit (CEES-U), Cambridge University Hospitals, UK. He is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Alexandria University, Egypt. In addition, he is the President of the Middle East Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy (MESGE). He received his training and earned the European Board in Obstetrics and Gynecology and MD from Bologna University, Italy. He obtained his PhD in Endometriosis management from VUMC, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was appointed as a consultant Gynaecology Surgeon in the Sacred Heart Hospital in Negrar, Verona, Italy. He worked as a senior consultant in the Endometriosis Centre of Bologna University Hospital, Italy, until March 2019, then he moved to Cambridge University Hospitals to help establishing the Cambridge Endometriosis and Endoscopic Surgery Unit (CEES-U). Mabrouk is a recognised international expert in the field of endometriosis, surgical anatomy and minimally invasive surgery. He is regularly invited to speak or operate at National/ International courses/ congresses on these subjects. He has a keen interest in teaching complex endometriosis surgery in the UK, Europe and Internationally. He is author and co-author of numerous (> 70) International, peer-reviewed publications and first author of a book on “Clinical Management of Endometriosis”.
