Michela Dalmartello

Specialist in Epidemiology and Social Statistics. HIGHLIGHTS She got her degree in Social Statistics and Demography from the University of Padua and a PhD in Epidemiology, Environment and Public Health from the University of Milan. Currently, she is a research fellow at the Department of Clinical Medicine and Community Health in the University of Milan, Italy. RESEARCH ACITVITY She collaborated with the Ca’ Foscari Foundation, Venice, within national and regional projects targeting evaluation of public policies. She collaborated with the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Bruno Kessler Foundation, in developing a new pathway for physiological pregnancy assistance in the Province of Trento. Her main areas of interest include collaboration in developing public health actions and their progress, final and follow up evaluation. She has been visiting scientist at the Aalborg University Hospital, Denmark and visiting student at the Tilburg University, Department of Methodology and Statistics, The Netherlands. Current research interests regard the impact of dietary and lifestyle factors on cancer risk and the evaluation of public health interventions.
