VU University Medical Center Amsterdam Amsterdam, NL PhD Candidate / Neuropsychologist Highlights As a PhD Candidate within the INCIP group, I am responsible for the follow-up of Dutch children prenatally exposed to maternal cancer and its treatment. Clinical activity Coordinator and contact person for late adverse effect that can arise if a child is exposed to maternal cancer and its treatment. At different time-points children are invited for follow-up checks (physical, neurologic, cognitive and cardiac examinations). In the Netherlands we see these children in the Princess Maxima Center, this center has an outpatient clinic specialized in late effects of cancer treatment. Research activity My research activities focus on determining their safety in terms of general health, cognitive and cardiac development, fertility and the risk of cancers.
