Mariadelina Simeoni

Prof. Mariadelina Simeoni is currently a researcher working as onco-nephrologist in both AOU Luigi Vanvitelli and INT IRCCS 'Pascale Foundation' in Naples. Her 18 years research activity started at UCL (UK) with renal physiology studies applying the confocal microscopy to the exploration of peptides handling by the renal proximal tubule. Thereafter, her research activity was carried out between \"Magna Graecia\" University of Catanzaro and University of Campania \"L. Vanvitelli\" and was focused on different aspects of CKD pathogenesis, progression and complications. She is an active member of CONNECT participating to different activities within the network, with special insight on cancer and CKD implications on cognitive performance.
