Julia Guthrie

After studying molecular bionics and molecular medicine in Hungary, Sweden, and England, Julia pursued her PhD at the LBI of Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases and the CeMM Research Center for Molecular Medicine. She has coordinated cross-disciplinary efforts to develop standardized ontologies for rare diseases of the immune system and has analyzed and integrated complex biological datasets while developing a network medicine framework for autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases. Julia is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Perutz Labs, University of Vienna in Austria pursuing further projects combining computational approaches and rare diseases.
