John Dennis

Dr John Dennis is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Exeter. His research focuses on precision medicine in type 2 diabetes, using data science and advanced statistical methods to develop predictive models to optimise type 2 diabetes therapy choice for individual patients. John completed his PhD in Medical Statistics at Exeter in 2019, and in 2022 was awarded the European Association for the Study of Diabetes Rising Star award. He is a member of the UK MRC MASTERMIND type 2 diabetes precision medicine consortium, co-Chair of the ADA/EASD Precision Medicine in Diabetes Initiative working group on type 2 diabetes precision medicine, and an advisory group member of the BHF, Diabetes UK and HDR UK Diabetes Data Science Catalyst.
