Irina Savelieva

Dr Savelieva MD, PhD (Cardiology), PhD (Electrophysiology), FESC, FEHRA, is consultant cardiologist and lecturer in clinical cardiology at St George’s Hospital and University of London. She is a principal investigator in several large-scale clinical trials in AF and serves on faculty boards of cardiology and specialist arrhythmia societies including ESC, EHRA, HRS, HRC-UK, AHA, ACC, Euro-Echo-Imaging, HFA, WAS, ICPES, and ISCP. She has served on the ESC Task Force for Guidelines on management of atrial fibrillation and the EHRA Documents Writing Committee and is a co-chair for EHRA expert consensus statement on management of cardiac arrhythmias in frailty syndrome endorsed by HRS, APHRS, LAHRS, and CASSA, with the representation of Italian Society of Geriatric Cardiology (SICGe). She is Deputy Editor for EP-Europace, Associate Editor for Clinical Cardiology, and Editorial Board Member for European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy.
