Hean-Yee Ong

Senior Consultant Cardiologist, Mount Elizabeth Hospital Novena President, Singapore Cardiac Society Singapore He is currently a Consultant Cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital Novena. Dr Ong graduated in 1994 from Queen's University of Belfast. He completed his Advanced Specialty Training in Cardiology at National University Hospital, Singapore and was a Fellow in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the Cleveland Clinic, USA in 2006. He set up and was Head of Department of Cardiology in Alexandra Hospital / Khoo Teck Puat Hospital from 2008 - 2016. He has significant peer-reviewed publications in exercise testing, echocardiography, cardiac CT imaging, heart failure and cardiac epidemiology. He is the current President of Singapore Cardiac Society (2018-2019). He is also a member of the Domain Specific Review Board overlooking the ethical conduct of clinical trials.
