Giuseppe Luigi Banna is Consultant Medical Oncologist for Lung and Urology tumours at the Department of Oncology of Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, UK. In the last three years, he worked as the lead of clinical and translational research for thoracic tumours at Candiolo Cancer Institute, FPO-IRCCS, Turin, Italy, clinician scientist and consultant for lung and urology tumours at the Lincolnshire United Hospitals, the University of Lincoln and Nottingham, and Portsmouth University NHS Hospitals Trust in the UK. He is scientific consultant for clinical pharmacology for the AIFA Italian Medicines Agency, coordinator of the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM) clinical guidelines for testicular cancer, and referee for international research committees like the International Committee for Clinical Cancer Research of the Institut National du Cancer or the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF Kankerbestrijding).
