Gianluigi Savarese is an Italian and Swedish cardiologist currently operating as an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the Karolinska Institutet within the Department of Clinical Science and Education. He also maintains a substantive clinical role as a Senior Consultant for Heart Failure at the Southern Hospital (Södersjukhuset) in Stockholm, Sweden.
