Fulvio Zullo is a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics and in General Surgery and a Doctoral Researcher (PhD) in “Perinatal Medicine”. During his career he has deepened his knowledge and scientific and clinical skills in the fields of Endoscopic Surgery, Advanced Gynecological Surgery, Gynecology Oncology, Reproductive Medicine, Fertility Preservation and Perinatal Medicine. Since 1984 he has teach at University, first as an expert in the subject, then as a holder of numerous single courses and integrated courses, as Coordinator of Research Doctorates, and then as Director of the School of Specialization at the University of Catanzaro and Naples “Federico II”. The number of publications on indexed peer-reviewed journals with Impact Factor (259 since 1986) and the number of citations received from them (5958) show his high scientific activity. He has shown excellent ability to attract competitive funding as head and PI of numerous Scientific Research Projects of National interest. Furthermore, he is a member of the Editorial Commettee of important journals like Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Journal of Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Disorders, Gynecologic Surgery and Italian Journal of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. He is also the Ad Hoc Reviewer of several national and international magazines with high Impact Factor, among which Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Journal of Ovarian Research, Reproductive Toxicology, Human Reproduction, etc. From 1995 to 1997 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the European Fertility Research Associates (EFRA) and of SIELG from 1996 to 1998. Since 1998 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Endoscopic Gynecology (SEGI) as well as an Expert Endoscopist with cod. ident number. staff LE06598. From 2002 to 2003 he was the National Secretary of the Italian Society of Endoscopic Gynecology (SEGI) and the Executive Board member of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), with the qualification of Scientific Secretary of the 2004 Congress. From 2005 to 2007 he was a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the Editorial Board member of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE). From 2009 to 2013 he served as a Secretary on the Board of Directors of the Italian University Gynecologists Association (AGUI).
