Medical Oncology Alexandra Hospital - Athens University Medical School Athens, GR Specialist in Medical Oncology HIGHLIGHTS With a PhD in Breast Cancer, she is the author of over 220 scientific papers, with publications in numerous prestigious international journals. She has more than 3500 citations. She is a journal reviewer for several journals and evaluator of research proposals submitted to European Research Council. Dr Zagouri, is Associate editor in several journals. She has participated in more than 30 clinical trials either as Sub-Investigator or as Principal Investigator focused on breast cancer, gynecological cancer and multiple myloma. CLINICAL ACTIVITY Main activities in the field of medical oncology, involving the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, cancer diagnosis during pregnancy, plasma cell dyscrasias and cancer in young adults. Contact oncologist for oncological problems during pregnancy and fertility problems after the diagnosis of malignant cancer. RESEARCH ACTIVITY Research activity in the field of breast cancer and in young adults, focussing on the problems of fertility and pregnancy in oncology, including tumours during pregnancy and pregnancies after cancer. Dr Zagouri is a member of numerous scientific societies and has authored more than 220 publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as numerous abstracts and several textbook chapters primarily focusing on cancer diagnosis during pregnancy and breast cancer. TEACHING ACTIVITY Participation as a guest speaker in lectures in multiple round tables in international and Greek conferences, as well as participation as moderator in numerous round tables in Greek and international conference. Teaching faculty for undergraduate students with lectures to 4 and 6-year medical students in Medical School, University of Athens. Teaching the obligatory elective course ''Oncology I'' for the medical students, Medical School, University of Athens.
