Elena Petsiou

Elena Petsiou is a specialized internist and clinical expert in diabetes and metabolic diseases. She serves as the Director of the Internal Medicine Department at the Metropolitan Hospital in Greece. She completed her medical training at the University of L’Aquila in Italy and earned her PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Dr. Petsiou is board-certified in Diabetes Mellitus by the Hellenic Ministry of Health and holds a specialized SCOPE certification in Clinical Obesity Management. Her core medical interests focus on long-term nutritional interventions, diabetes mitigation, obesity care, and the systematic reduction of overall cardiometabolic risk.
