Diana Ledua Olita'a

Diana Ledua Olita'a is a dedicated Paediatrician with a strong specialization in Paediatric Cardiology, currently practicing at Port Moresby General Hospital in Papua New Guinea. She holds a Master of Medicine in Child Health and has nearly two decades of experience in child health within low-resource settings. Dr. Dee is a passionate advocate for improving pediatric cardiac services and serves as a board member of the Operation Open Heart Foundation.

At Port Moresby General Hospital, Dr. Dee leads the paediatric cardiac and echo clinics and is responsible for the pre-surgery workup and post-operative care for complex heart surgery cases. She collaborates extensively with international teams, including Open Heart International, to select patients for surgery and conduct national provincial cardiac screenings. Her research on neonatal sepsis and malnutrition risk factors has been published in the Archives of Disease in Childhood and the Journal of Tropical Pediatrics.
