Dang Quang Toan

Dr. Dang Quang Toan is a highly skilled Cardiologist based at Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He specializes in advanced echocardiography and cardiac imaging, with specialized certifications in four-dimensional (4D) echocardiography and interventional echocardiography for structural heart disease, the latter obtained from Taichung Veterans General Hospital in Taiwan. Dr. Toan is proficient in performing and interpreting a wide range of studies, including transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Toan is an active researcher and primary investigator in novel echocardiography techniques and heart failure biomarkers, such as galectin-3. He has been recognized internationally for his academic contributions, receiving the Best Abstract Award and Best Case Presentation from the Korean Society of Cardiology in 2021 and 2022. He is also committed to medical outreach, regularly volunteering in remote provinces of Vietnam and supporting post-disaster relief medical teams.
