Professor Chris Griffiths is Professor of Primary Care at the University of Oxford and Queen Mary University of London, and Visiting Professor at the Environmental Research Group, Imperial College. He is Director of the Centre for Applied Respiratory Research Innovation and Implementation (CARRii) and leads NEXUS, a Medical Research Council-funded global partnership building research capacity and addressing the health impacts of non-exhaust pollution. His research focuses on respiratory health, in particular the health effects of clean air interventions on the health and development of children. He leads the National Institute for Health Research-funded CHILL (Children's Health in London and Luton) cohort, evaluating the impacts of London's Ultra Low Emission Zone on children's health.
