Carina Blomström-Lundqvist, MD, PhD, Professor in Cardiology Department of Medical Science, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Department of Cardiology, School of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, Örebro University, Örebro, Sweden Dr Carina Blomström-Lundqvist is Senior consultant, Professor, at the Department of Medical Science, Uppsala University, and Department of Cardiology, School of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, Örebro University, Sweden. She has currently 4 PhD fellows with projects related to novel technologies for early diagnosis of Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy.evaluation of outcomes and research related to atrial fibrillation interventions and risk factors. She has /had several positions within the Swedish Society of Medicine and Cardiology, European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), has led served committees, Task Forces and participated in several Guideline committees. Presently positioned in the ESC CPC, ESC Education committee and as anchor person for AF DAS-CAM education in Maastricht.
