Charalampos I. Kossyvakis is a distinguished electrophysiologist and interventional cardiologist with extensive specialized training. He graduated from the Timisoara University of Medicine in Romania and earned his PhD from the University of Athens. After completing his cardiology residency at the "G. Gennimatas" Athens General Hospital , he advanced his expertise through a specialized fellowship at Yale University, focusing on percutaneous angioplasty and interventional electrophysiology.

Dr. Kossyvakis has held key medical leadership roles, including Director of Electrophysiology and Pacing at the Metropolitan Hospital and Head of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory at "G. Gennimatas" Athens General Hospital. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at Yale University. His core scientific and research interests focus on the application of new technologies in cardiology , specifically pulsed field ablation (PFA) and advanced mapping systems for complex arrhythmias , actively contributing to major international journals and clinical congresses.
