Bressan Silvia

Dr. Silvia Bressan is a pediatrician and a pediatric emergency physician and assistant professor at the University of Padova. She completed her training in pediatric emergency medicine at the Rambam Health Care Campus, Haifa, Israel and at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne Australia. She conducted her PhD clinical research on head injury at the University of Padova and at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Mebourne, Australia. She has been involved in several clinical international multicenter studies on head injury, the febrile infants and other infectious diseases. She has been the Secretary of the Research in European Pediatric Emergency Medicine (REPEM) network, and part of the executive committee of the global Pediatric Emergency Research Network (PERN) since 2017. She has published > 70 peer reviewed articles. She is also involved in education at a local, national and international level in several pediatric emergency medicine topics including head injury, the febrile infant, respiratory emergencies, pediatric procedural sedation and analgesia and high fidelity simulation.
