Ayumi Goda

Dr. Ayumi Goda is a physician and researcher in Cardiovascular Medicine, holding a PhD from Tokyo Medical Dental University School of Medicine (2009) and an MD from Okayama University School of Medicine (2001). She currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Kyorin University Hospital in Tokyo, Japan, a position she has held since 2024, following a period as Senior Lecturer (2019–2023) and Assistant Professor (2010–2018) at the same institution. Her earlier experience includes a research fellowship at Columbia University in New York (2008–2010) and residency in Tokyo. Dr. Goda is actively involved in academic leadership, serving as a Board Member for several major Japanese medical societies, including The Japanese Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation, the Japanese Pulmonary Circulation and Pulmonary Hypertension Society, and the Japanese Heart Failure Society. Her extensive publication record comprises numerous scientific articles, primarily focused on heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
